The Hard Rock Auger from Auger Torque has been designed and engineered to fulfil the most demanding of drilling applications.
Designed for drilling in fractured hard rock and extremely abrasive conditions. Optimised in direct collaboration with operators specialising in hard rock drilling applications we are excited to offer the Hard Rock Auger Range globally.
A perfect choice for excavators between 5-50T, these augers are designed to get the hole drilled when regular rock augers start to refuse. Made to spec from the highest grade steel, we are confident our hard rock auger range will stand up to the toughest of applications time & time again.

- Hard rock augers are available in 2 popular sizes, 75mm and 110mm square.

- Heavy wall pipe for rotational strength. 20mm thick starter flights, optional hard facing will ensure this auger performs in the toughest of grounds.
AGGRESSIVE TAPERED CUTTING HEAD WITH ROTATING PICKS
- Designed for drilling in hard rock and extremely abrasive conditions.
TAPERED CUTTING PATH
- Our cutting heads are designed with a constant spiral cut. Teeth are located so that each tooth makes its own fresh cut on every revolution and are angled to direct spoil towards the centre of the cutting head. The tooth cutting angle ensures spoil is broken up thoroughly to avoid any clogging.
ROCK PILOT AND TEETH WITH ROTATING ROCK PICKS
- The hard rock augers are offered with our rotating rock teeth and pilots. Designed so only the rotating picks wear not the pockets/ holders.

- We currently offer the following sizes: Ø300mm Ø450mm Ø600mm and Ø750mm.
- Rotating Pick Rock Teeth on tapered cutting head
- Standard 110mm Square Hub (PA) & 75mm Square Hub (S6)
- 20mm starter flight & 12mm for remaining flights
- Standard length is 2.4m, custom sizes & continuous flight available
- Custom diameters available on request
- Hard Facing available
- Can be made fully flighted in timed sections (CFA)
